Our 3 favourite make-up looks from LFW SS16

Bora Aksu

The intricate floral face lace framed the models faces perfectly resulting in a super pretty sophisticated and fun look, who needs a veil?  The collection had a fresh mixture of colours and textures which translated beautifully into makeup. The palette was full of warm peaches, tangerines and apricots which will be on trend next spring/summer.

The Matte Multipul in Exumas- NARS

Lip Glaze in Apricot – Stilla

Ashish

Mixing urban street clothing with pretty rainbow colours and skateboards made this show an exciting extravagant party!  A sea of multi coloured glitter and sequins a-dawned the models eyes and hair. The sparkly sequins dotted in the hair could be a great alternative for the classic tiara, veil or fascinator. by using finer glitter/ smaller sequins on the eyes in muted metallics could achieve a toned down version, great for a bold bride who wants to bedazzle her groom.

Emilia Wickstead

Pink to make the boys wink and every princess’s fantasy was the vibe from Emilia’s magical catwalk show.  The clothes and make up were utterly girlie but still had bags of elegance and class.  The glossy eyes and pink flush on lips and cheeks translate to bridal make up so well.  Even a natural beauty who doesn’t want to wear a lot on the big day wouldn’t be able to resist this updated classic.
