Picking your wedding makeup is one of the hardest decisions you will ever have to make,  we’ve put together some some bridal make up inspired looks that might help you along the way.

FESTIVAL BRIDE

Laid back boho brides this look is for you! With the main focus being on the face adornments we want to keep the makeup minimal and the skin looking clear, fresh and dewy. Keep the eyes neutral with lashings of mascara, pat highlighter on the cheek bones, brow bones and cupids bow for a gorgeous youthful glow.  Add a cream blush to keep dewiness on the apples of the cheeks and finish the look with a neutral lip liner all off over the lips and a touch of powder through the t-zone.

We used: Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl, Stilla Convertible Blush Colour Palette in Cool Pink , Stilla Stay All Day Lip Liner in Zinfandel and It’s In Your Dreams face adornments.

GLAMOROUS BRIDE

Perfect for all you smouldering ladies that aren’t afraid to add a bit of sexiness and drama to your makeup! Gradually build up a smokey eye using neutral shades from the same colour family and buff in with a blender brush. Finish the eye off by lining the top and bottom lash line with a waterproof pencil liner and apply some individual lashes to the outer corners.  Team this up with glowing skin, softly contoured cheeks and a peachy nude lip.

We used : Viseart  Neutral Matte Eye Palette, Clarins Waterproof Pencil, Eylure individual lashes, Hourglass Illume Sheer Colour Trio, and Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Penelope Pink.

CLASSIC BRIDE

This is for the traditional and understated bride who is wanting a timeless look. It’s perfect for making the most of your eyes whilst still giving an elegant and overall natural make-up effect. Use a sweep of cream eye shadow on the lid then define the lashes using a gel liner and a brush, wing this out slightly working with your eye shape. Add a thin layer of a radiant tinted moisturiser all over the face and pin point conceal any blemishes. Finally sweep a soft focus powder all over the face still letting the foundation radiance come through and finish with light touches of bronzer and blusher where the sun would naturally hit.

We used: Charlotte Tilbury Cream Eyeshadow in Jean, Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser, Eylure Brow Pencil and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

TOP TIP:  If you want to make your make-up last all day, after moisturising and priming your skin powder your face with a looser powder BEFORE foundation! This will instantly set your foundation when its applied on top and it won’t budge until you take it off.
