Eyes! No matter how carefully you have looked after them the effects of aging can take its toll leaving you with bags, sags, wrinkles and dark circles. Andrea and I are in our early 30s now and have started to notice a difference. We have made it our personal mission to find out what’s really the best way to conceal and correct ageing eyes.
Concealer is a must when combating dark circles but it’s essential to pick the right colour and texture for your skin. Concealer that is too light or too thick will exaggerate uneven skin texture and fine lines, below are a few of our kit favourites.
Amazing concealer – This concealer really lives up to its name, it gives excellent coverage and you only need the tiniest amount. It is easy to blend, doesn’t crease, lasts for hours and blots out all darkness.
Bobbi Brown Corrector – Fab colour selection to beat any red, purple and blue undertones. It has a nice consistency, not too sticky or cakey and can be used under or as a concealer on its own.
Clinique Airbrush concealer – This is a great highlighting concealer. It’s lightweight yet pigmented enough to conceal and highlight the dark circles around the eyes without looking too heavy. It has decent staying power and will last most of the and it’s also good for very sensitive eyes.
Eyelash growth serum
It works! It’s true , your lashes will become stronger, thicker and longer after 3 months of daily use. It takes a long time to work but it is well worth the wait for a natural fake lash effect! There are a lot on the market that have had great reviews but our favourite is Lilash.
