We were lucky enough to be part of Laura’s wedding in the beautiful Capri! With a stunning sea view from the apartment we were getting the bridal party ready in, weddings don’t come much better than this one!
Laura only wore a very light foundation day to day so we really wanted to keep the foundation as light as possible but still covering any imperfections (which weren’t many!) We used a matte and smoothing primer POREfessional by Benefit, this is a great product for keeping make-up in place especially in warm climates. We then used Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser, this evened out Laura’s skin tone and gave her just enough coverage without it looking like makeup. We finished off by concealing under the eyes and a tiny bit of spot concealing sealed with powder.
Even though it was hot Laura still wanted some glow to her skin but in the right places! We used our go to highlighter BECCA Cosmetics shimmering skin perfector to give her those gorgeous creamy cheeks bones, finished off with a dusting of bronzer on the contours of the cheeks and a pop of a natural blush on the apples.
To give Laura’s eyes that slight 60’s feel we went for a soft contoured eye in brown and gold tones, these colours complimented Laura’s skin tone the most, paired with a soft eyeliner flick and Fleur De Force corner lashes by Eylure to add to the winged out effect. Because the rest of the Laura’s makeup was so subtle the eyes really stood out even though they weren’t dramatic.
To finish the look we went for nude lip slightly paler than Laura’s natural lip colour, this completed the perfect soft and pretty bridal look with a slight nod to 60’s.
