Natural bridal make up tutorial
Here is our step by step guide to achieving the perfect natural bridal make-up look for your wedding day,
Step 1
Begin by prepping the face by applying moisturiser followed by primer. This will ensure your make-up lasts longer and will create a smooth base for your foundation.
Step 2
Apply your foundation lightly working it in with a buffing brush. We wanted to achieve a healthy inner glow that all brides love. On our model we used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation mixed with Chanel Sheer Illuminating base. This combo leaves your skin looking creamy and dreamy!
Step 3
Using your middle finger pat a tiny amount of crème blush just on the apples of the cheeks and blend. We used Kevyn Aucoin’s Creamy Glow Duo in Pravella for a subtle flush of colour.
Step 4
Using a fan brush, lightly dust your bronzer along the top of the forehead, temples, cheekbones and nose. The aim is to add a little colour anywhere the sun would naturally hit. We used NARS Laguna Bronzer.
Step 5
For the eyes: This was our main focus. Start by priming the lid with an eye shadow primer to secure the longevity of the products. Apply a thin layer of a shimmery beige on the lid and diffuse into the crease. We used NARS pro prime smudge proof eye shadow base.
Step 6
Next apply a medium coppery brown eye shadow to the outer half of the lid and blend into the crease while diffusing the colour up to the brow bone. Using a super fine brush with very little product on, smudge along lower lash line using the medium copper brown. We used TOM FORD Cognac Sable eye shadow quad, these shades are perfect with all the colours you need in one.
Step 7
Using a brown kohl pencil draw a thin line as close to your top lash line as possible, smudge and soften using a brush. We used Top Shop brown kohl eye pencil.
Step 8
Curl your eyelashes and add 3-4 individual cluster lashes on the outer corner of each eye followed by a generous coating of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. Finally comb your brows into place and give them a light sweep of brow powder. We used Ardell individual lashes and YSL False Lash Effect waterproof mascara.
Step 9
To finish off the look use a barely-there pink/peach lipstick and pat onto lips ensuring the lips come across fresh and naturally tinted. We used BECCA Sheer lip tint in Leticia.
Et Viola, there you have it!
