We love doing bridal makeup in London but we equally love travelling around the UK and getting to visit some of the beautiful venues it has to offer. We wanted to share some of our favourites with you, some we have been to and some we are hoping to see soon!
Spitbank Fort, Hampshire
Spitbank Fort is an iconic five-star venue and spa in the Solent off the coat of Portsmouth and has history dating back for over 150 years. This incredible floating fort is an alternative luxury venue which is becoming very popular for weddings. They have tubs, a large fire pit, open-air pool, sauna and sundecks. Access to the fort is only by boat or helicopter!
Tythe Barn Launton, Oxfordshire
Built between 1360 and 1370, the historical Tythe Barn still retains the majority of its 22 foot original beams. Go from the immaculate barn and pretty gardens to the little nook and shepherds hut, everything has been thought out so carefully. The service at the barn is second to none with tons of 5 star reviews.o
Clivden House, Berkshire
We are lucky enough to return to this venue a few times a year. Cliveden House is one of the UK’s most famous and luxurious wedding venues. A Grade I stately home with sculpted gardens, an intriguing history and a glamorous guest-list of former visitors including Megan Markle on her pre wedding night! You will not need much in terms of decorations here, all rooms look incredible but the French Dining room and the Library are especially stunning.
Barton Hall Hotel, Northamptonshire
This highly contemporary yet elegant Grade II listed Hotel is set in nearly 10 acres of grounds and woodland with a patio area overlooking the manicured gardens with valley views beyond. You’ll find the food to be of michelin star level and each of the bedrooms are individually styled and full of charm and character.
